Decorative yarns easily slip though the slits without tugging or having to resort to using pliers to pull the needle through fleece, felt and other sturdy fabrics. Hand stitches such as whip or blanket stitch are perfectly spaced, eliminating the need for marking and pre-punching holes with an awl or punch.
The Edge Perfect Blade is invaluable for applying crochet or knit edges. A crochet hook slips easily through the perforations making it an ideal way to edge blankets, garments and accessories. Edge finish options are unlimited when using the wide variety of yarns and decorative threads available. The blade also makes quick work of adding knit cuffs to hats and mittens.

Edge Perfect blade
I recently took an embellishment class where this blade was used to create holes for weaving ribbon through a knit fabric. My sample was fun to do and I look forward to trying it on a project.
