There is also a wonderful Luxe Bemberg Super Fine Twill. It is 54” wide and as luscious and it sounds. Only ever so slightly heavier the Ambiance, it makes a perfect lining with its generous width.

Ambiance Bemberg is a rayon lining processed in Asia with a luxurious feel. This lightweight, breathable, static-free lining with a fluid hand makes it a favorite of designers.

Washable and Dry Cleanable. Be sure to pre-treat.

VERY fast shipping
On Monday last week I realized that I didn't have the lining I needed for the skirt I was whipping up for a trip. I needed the fabric by Thursday to get the skirt ready. Previous experience told me that The Sewing Place was my best bet. Got the Bemberg on time and am wearing the skirt now!

Slippery but so nice to wear
It's not the easiest fabric to sew and cut, but it's lovely to wear. Someone suggested spraying it with starch to make it easier to handle; I may try that. Thanks to Dana for helping me choose a color.

Great lining
The three linings I ordered are great quality and I recieved them in 2 days. My only complaint would be that the fabrics are different than those on the swatch card by a reasonable amount.

You have the best site to find this wonderful lining. In my opinion this lining is a bit pricey, but always get the correct shade I am looking for! Because I live in Fla, rayon is cooler than polyester!
