There is also a wonderful Luxe Bemberg Super Fine Twill. It is 54” wide and as luscious and it sounds. Only ever so slightly heavier the Ambiance, it makes a perfect lining with its generous width.

Ambiance Bemberg is a rayon lining processed in Asia with a luxurious feel. This lightweight, breathable, static-free lining with a fluid hand makes it a favorite of designers.
It is the preferred lining of many of our customers at The Sewing Place.

Washable and Dry Cleanable. Be sure to pre-treat.

Excellent fabric for linings. I can no longer find much in the line of sewing supplies or fabrics as all the stores are gone so must resort to shopping online. The Sewing Place has excellent service and good selection. I am a weaver and weave my own fabric, but still need linings and interfacings and assorted other items. Thank you for being here!

Stamping a lining
I love this stuff! It's way better than polyester because it breathes. Now, can somebody tell me how to "stamp my lining" as shown in the photo?!

Ambiance Bemburg Rayon Lining
I love how silky and light this lining is. I machine washed and dried it, then pressed with a bit of Best Press and it cut beautifully. Now I'm looking at more colors to purchase!

My favorite lining
Feels smooth and silky, great to sew. The only drawback is that Ambiance makes fewer colors than they used to, and I wish they would bring some of their old colors back.
