There is also a wonderful Luxe Bemberg Super Fine Twill. It is 54” wide and as luscious and it sounds. Only ever so slightly heavier the Ambiance, it makes a perfect lining with its generous width.

Ambiance Bemberg is a rayon lining processed in Asia with a luxurious feel. This lightweight, breathable, static-free lining with a fluid hand makes it a favorite of designers.
It is the preferred lining of many of our customers at The Sewing Place.
100% Rayon, 45" wide
Washable and Dry Cleanable. Be sure to pre-treat.
This is a good representation of the colors offered. However, different browsers may affect the color accuracy. You may wish to send us a swatch of your fabric for best color match.

love this stuff
I rely on Bemberg rayon lining for everything I do that is tailored. Like any rayon, it can stretch in the length over time even in things that are dry cleaned. It really only matters at a skirt or dress hemline, so I cut the lining hem a bit shorter or shorten it later. Bias seams stretch the most of course.

Bemberg lining
Bemberg lining is the only lining I use! It is rayon! And it breathes!!!! I live in Fl. It is hot and humid here in the summer, the polyester linings make me feel as if I'm wearing a plastic bag! In addition, The Sewing Place is the only store I know of where one can find almost any color in the rainbow of for the perfect lined garment! (I just wish it was wider!!).

Ambiance Bemberg Rayon Lining
There is no other lining that is compares to ambiance lining. It may be a little costly, but I love the fact that it keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. I only wish that it would be available in more colors.
