Medical Grade Flat knitted elastic manufactured using a synthetic, latex free rubber. Incredibly soft, perfect for over-the-ear style Face Masks.
Latex free elastic is equally durable to rubber elastic and will maintain its stretch retention.
However latex free elastic tends to have a “lazy” return. In other words, it doesn’t snap back from a stretch as fast as latex.
Latex free elastic is an option for those with allergic reaction to latex, or for those wanting to reduce their carbon footprint as fewer carcinogens are used in the manufacturing process.
