I found a shortcut for baby hens on Pinterest and the only waistband material at my local Joanns was woven in a cross hatch weave. This BanRoll is woven in a true grid and so you can unravel what you need.

Perfect for making baby hems
Followed a Burda tutorial that showed how to use Ban-Rol to make perfect baby hems in chiffon. Wish I'd known about this years ago; it's amazing. This product is just right for the job and once prepared for the hem technique, can be reused.
