This very stretchy elastic can be used in many ways. It's the perfect stay tape for stretchy fabrics - great for Slinky Knit! Use it on neck edges, sleeve edges and to stabilize shoulder seams. Stretched out sweater sleeves can be revived with the narrow elastic and a large eye needle.
Thin soft & lightweight, it will stretch 3 to 4 times its original length. Chlorine safe, dry cleanable. Use for applications in swimwear, aerobic wear & lightweight fabrics.
100% polyurethane.

The BEST!
This is the only clear elastic I’ll buy. I’ve tried so many, and hands down, The Sewing Place has the best!! It is incredibly stretchy but also stable. It doesn’t slip under my machine foot and is my go-to when gathering! You can’t beat the quality, price, or speed of shipping! Don’t waste your time with any other elastic!

Clear elastic
I recently bought the clear elastic. I arrived in a timely manner. I have used both the 1/4 &3/8. Both worked well for the garments I was making. I used the elastic in the tank straps, underarms and waist line also the side seams of a rayon spandex dress. Order more right away so I wouldn't run out again.

Clear Elastic Review
I used this elastic to make masks and it got the job done well. I’m not sure if the longevity of the elastic but it was not easily broken and I was able to put it in the washing machine.
