For 44â wide light to mid-weight fabric
- 3/4 yard for the Exterior and Handles
- 5/8 yard of a coordinating fabric for the Lining
- 2 yards of 20â wide fusible woven interfacing
For 54â wide mid-weight fabric - 1/2 yard for the Exterior and Handles
- 3/8 yard of a coordinating fabric for the Lining
- 1 1/4 yards of 20â wide fusible woven interfacing
PLUS - 1/4 yard of 44â wide fusible fleece (we use fusible Thermolam Plus® by Pellon®)
- 1/4 yard of 22â wise single-sided fusible Peltex® by Pellon® or a similar extra-heavy stabilizer
- 18â coordinating purse zipper OR similar coil zipper (we use Coats brand zippers)
- 1 spool of coordinating all-purpose thread (we use Coats Dual Duty XP®)
