Three Seasons Cape - Great Copy Patterns

The Three Seasons Cape is designed to be multi-functional. Spring and fall capes are perfect when made from Supplex, Ultrex or other rainwear. Winter will find the cape just as indispensable in fleece, wool, or similar coating fabrics. Both are worn just below the knee for comfort and convenience.

Optional wind tabs keep the cape under control on blustery days. Finishing options are included for both serger and conventional machines. The pattern also includes instructions for a Rain Cape Tote for when the sun comes out.

Suggested Fabrics: Outerwear Fleece such as Polartec®, Windbloc®, wool, coating fabrics, Supplex, rainwear.

Fabric Required: 2-5/8 yards of 60” wide fabric (not suitable for fabrics less than 58”)
Finished length from back neck edge: 38 1/2“
Notions: Three or more 1” Buttons or Large Snaps
Optional Decorative Serger Finish: Wooly Nylon, Poly Yarn, Pearl Crown Rayon, YLI Embellishing Yarn, YLI Designer 6, Madeira Décor 6 or other decorative serger thread
Temporary spray adhesive Lightweight mesh type cut-away stabilizer - 4" by 6" or scraps Water Soluble or Tear away stabilizer - 4" by 6" or scraps For Optional Rainwear Tote: 24" cording and 1 cord stop
