This simple classic jacket is shaped to fit real figures and features sections to highlight a beautiful collection of fabrics. Sew the seams on the outside and cover with self bias tape for the unlined version or sew the seams on the inside and use the bias for trim in the lined jacket. Short or long sleeves.
Suggested Fabrics: Outside: Medium to heavy wt cottons; med wt silks such as pongee, broadcloth, dupionni, shantung, noil; lt wt wools; med wt linen. Lining: lt wt silk, polyester or rayon lining fabric. Interfacing: lt wt woven fusible.
