Suggested Fabrics: Panel Area: Lt to Md Wt cottons, md wt silks such as pongee, broadcloth, shantung, lt wt wools, rayon, denim. Main Body of Jacket: Silks, linen, md wt cottons, velveteen, lt wt wools, md wt rayon. Foundation: muslin. Lining: Lt wt silk, polyester or rayon lining fabric.
Notions: thread, all purpose, the colors of the main body of vest, lining. Thread - decorative rayon or other topstitching, the color of the panel border. Thread, your choice, color of jacket body, for quilting. 10 buttons about 3/4". Rotary cutter, cutting mat (17" x 23" min) 6" x 24" cutting ruler.
