This quick to make wrap skirt is a 1950s reproduction that has been updated for size and function for today’s woman. Choose your size for this seamless skirt by hip measurement and then shape to the waist with 8 fitting darts.
Featuring an angled left side extension, with or without the View B contrast band, find a hidden phone pocket and a row of eye-catching buttons. Waistband is held in place with skirt hooks. This one-piece wrap skirt is perfect for stripes, plaids and border prints too.

FABRICS: Most suitable for bottom weight fabrics; suitings and cotton types such as denim, sateen, gabardine, poplin, twills. Consider heavy weight flannels or suede fabric types, or suiting silks or wools and linens. For dressier occasions, taffeta, shantung, duchess satin or brocade. Contrast (View B) recommendations may also include velveteen or heavy lace trims.

NOTIONS: Thread, 1 ¼ yds of 1 ½” wide grosgrain ribbon (to face the waistband), (2) skirt hooks, (5) 7/8” buttons
